Over the past 25 years, I've carved out a niche in the event planning industry with a particular focus on meeting and conference planning. It's more than just a career for me; it's a passion that has grown stronger with every successful event. From intimate board meetings to large-scale industry conferences, my goal has always been to facilitate not just gatherings, but meaningful exchanges and connections.

Each event is a unique puzzle, combining logistics, content, and experience into a seamless flow that engages and inspires.

This journey has been about more than just venues and schedules; it's about understanding the heartbeat of every gathering—what makes it tick and how it can leave a lasting impact on each participant. I believe in the power of details to profoundly enhance the human experience within any environment. Since 1997, my journey has intertwined with architects, interior designers, landscape architects, project managers, and clients, crafting award-winning Environmental Graphic Design systems. My work is driven by an innate understanding of artistry and beauty, which has been recognized with numerous industry awards, including the Interior Design Project of the Year.

I've demonstrated that design solutions can be both innovative and cost-effective. I focus on the "moment" of engagement, deeply understanding how the minutiae interact with each environment and translate identity into signage and wayfinding. My role in these projects has equipped me with a unique skill set perfectly suited for the event planning industry. The same principles of engagement, identity, and detailed planning apply directly to creating memorable events.

My experience ensures that every aspect of an event's design and execution contributes to a cohesive, impactful experience for attendees.

Additionally, as a fine artist whose work has been exhibited in local galleries, I bring a creative vision that continually seeks to explore the intersection of art and the human moments that connect them. This lifelong passion for art fuels my creativity, pushing me to innovate in the events we plan. My background allows me to craft events that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also meaningful, creating lasting impressions on all who attend.

Guided by a steadfast commitment to making a positive difference in local communities, I've dedicated my career to the impactful area of non-profit work. With 15 years of experience in non-profit education and over 25 years of service on boards for youth-focused organizations, my life is shaped with a passion for empowering the next generation.

From mentoring teenagers to supporting parent education, hosting international students, and cheering on milestones from 6th-grade endeavors to graduation, I understand the profound importance of leaving a lasting impact on the lives of youth. Their bright smiles have been my driving force, motivating me to continually contribute to their growth and well-being.

In my recent role at SparkWood Events, I've been exposed to a multitude of commendable causes, and the opportunity to aid these organizations in achieving their fundraising goals excites and inspires me. In a world that can sometimes feel gloomy, I echo the wise words of Mr. Rogers: 'Look for the helpers.' It is my heartfelt joy to be one of those helpers, contributing to causes that bring light and positive change to the lives of others. I find immense satisfaction in helping those who strive to make the world a better place.

Since then, I've been able to work primarily on corporate events like conferences, workshops, and team-building retreats. I've learned the importance of building strong relationships with vendors to keep services high-quality and within budget, and I'm always ready to tackle any challenges that come my way.
